கஜா புயலால் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட மாவட்டங்களான தஞ்சாவூர் மாவட்டம் மற்றும் நாகப்பட்டினம் மாவட்டம் ஆகிய பகுதிகளில் மின் தொடர்பு உபகரணங்கள் முழுமையாக பாதிக்கப்பட்டிருந்த நிலையில் அதனை சரிசெய்ய 25 ஆயிரத்துக்கும் மேற்பட்ட ஊழியர்கள் கடுமையாக உழைத்தார்கள், அவர்களனைவரும் கேரளா மாநிலம், கர்நாடகா மாநிலம், ஆந்திரா மாநிலம் போன்ற மாநிலங்களில் இருந்து வந்து பணியாற்றிய வேலையாட்களும் இதற்கு உட்பட்டவர்களே அவர்கள், இதன் அடுத்த கட்டமாக தான் தமிழ்நாடு மின்சார வாரியத்தில் 5000 மேன் என்ற ஒரு புதிய பதவியை உருவாக்கி அந்த பதவிக்கான ஆட்சேர்ப்பு அறிவிப்பை அந்த வாரியம் வெளியிட்டது,

தற்போது 5,000 நபர்கள் தேர்வு செய்யப்பட உள்ள நிலையில் இந்த வேலைவாய்ப்பு இதற்காக தமிழகம் முழுவதிலும் இருந்து குறைந்தபட்சம் ஐந்தாம் வகுப்பு கல்வித் தகுதி உட்பட 80 ஆயிரம் அளவில் ஆண்களும் பெண்களும் விண்ணப்பித்துள்ளனர்,
